Ruby Pappan is 18 years old and started to dance at the age of 2. Ruby was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She trained at Sandra’s School of Dance from 2 to 13 years old. She and her family made the move to Los Angeles and Ruby currently trains at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, Millennium Dance Complex, The Edge and takes convention at the Pulse, Hollywood Connection, Monsters of Hip Hop and any additional classes or conventions that come up. Ruby has won Dancer/Icon of the Year at Hollywood Connection, has won Icon regional several times, Ms. Showstopper, Ms. Global IDA, A List Winner (iHollywood), Protégé Winner (Pulse), won the title Ms. Starpower and has placed 1st overall highest scores consistently. Ruby has trained under Lindsley Allen, Nathan Trasoras, Brooklyn Jai, Robert Shultz, Lisette Bustamante, Chonique Sneed, Brooke Lipton, Lynn Patton, Biz Burke, Roman Vasques, Mitchel Federan, Shanti Lowry, Kimberly Lyon, Jason Kalish, Robert Shultz, and Gigi Torres. Ruby was in The Tales of Hoffman Opera, B.E.T. Blaze the Stage, WNBA Sparkids, Show Off music Video, The Cookie Dance Video, Make Me Over video, Do Yo Gudda music video, ‘Bout it music video, Lindsley Allen “Strut Fit” workout video, Just Dance 5 Commercial and Just Dance 4 for Kids video game. Ruby’s favorite styles of dance are contemporary, jazz funk and hip hop. Her favorite teachers are Brooklyn Jai, Nathan Trasoras, Lisette Bustamonte, Lindsley Allen and Mitchel Federon.
