Dream Dance Career:  Own my own studio and be a dance teacher

The biggest lesson dance has taught me… Failure is a requirement and part of the process. Just because something doesn’t go your way doesn’t mean you should give up and stop trying. 

My proudest dance moment… Hearing my name called for Icon of the Year and getting to share that moment with one of my favorite teachers. 

One person who inspires me… Sharee Hansen – she has helped shape me into the dancer and person I am today. 

What becoming an Icon means to me… Being an example to other dancers by believing in them and reminding them to always chase after their goals and dreams no matter how big or small. 

Anything else you would like to add:  I am so incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for the HC staff believing in me. I have looked up to many Icons before me who inspired me and I can’t believe I now have the chance to be that person for others. I can’t wait for this next season and to share my love and passion for dance with everyone!
