Ella Kim grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, where she trained for 15 years in all styles of dance at The Dance Source (formerly Adaptive Force Performing Arts). Ella began assisting and teaching at her home studio as a sophomore in high school, where she discovered her passion for mentoring young dancers and contributing to the studio community she grew up in.

Ella currently attends the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she is majoring in Psychological and Brain Sciences. She continues dancing at the collegiate level as a member of UCSB’s Untitled Dance Company.

Ella has been dancing with Hollywood Connection for 10+ years, and the convention played a significant role in shaping her love for performance and learning. She was on HC Teen Company for four years and was honored to be named the 2024 Member of the Year. To finish off her competitive career, Ella was awarded Producer Icon of the Year at the 2025 National Finals.

Becoming a Pro Assistant with Hollywood Connection has been one of Ella’s biggest dreams, and she is beyond thankful and excited for the opportunity to dance with everyone!
